Budget concerns raise job security fears for CCSD teachers

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Growing budget concerns in the Clark County School District are fueling anxiety among educators and applicants who worry about job security and future hiring across the valley.

One teacher who spoke anonymously with News 3 said she moved to Las Vegas hoping to work for CCSD but has struggled to secure a position despite months of effort.

“I’ve been applying to the school district since April of last year and I’ve applied to over 70 jobs and I’ve had three interviews and I’ve been declined from everything,” she said…
