Man arrested for shooting, killing daughter’s boyfriend in southwest Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is in police custody Thursday morning after an argument led to the man shooting his daughter’s boyfriend, Las Vegas Metropolitan police said.

The shooting happened in the 9200 block of Desert Village Avenue near Flamingo and Fort Apache roads.

“Just after midnight, LVMPD dispatch received a 911 call from a female caller stating her boyfriend had just been shot. Several seconds later, another 911 call came in from a male caller stating that he had just shot his daughter’s boyfriend,” Lt. Robert Price said.

When officers entered the home, the boyfriend was found on the floor with gunshot wounds and was transported to University Medical Center where he later died, Price said…
