Valley Cops Plead for Help in Hunt for Three Missing Locals

Police in Las Vegas are asking for the public’s help to find three missing people across the valley, including one adult who has been missing since November. On Friday, officers released photos and descriptions, saying the cases span different parts of the region and urging anyone with information to come forward.

Who Police Are Trying to Find

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has identified the missing as 41-year-old Heidy Cipriani, 35-year-old Deedwin Washington and 31-year-old Shaunte L. Neff, according to News 3 LV. Cipriani, who has been missing since November, is known to frequent the Fremont Street Experience, while Washington and Neff were reported missing earlier this month, the outlet reports.

Descriptions and Last-Seen Details

Police also released some distinguishing details for each person. Cipriani has hazel eyes and brown hair and has tattoos that include a marijuana leaf on her back and a skull on her hip. She is also known by the nicknames “XOAS” and “SPINNING LADY.”

Washington was last seen around 6 p.m. on Feb. 9 near the 600 block of Shadow Lane near Alta Drive, carrying a red duffel bag and wearing a brown, shoulder-length wig. Neff was last seen on Feb. 1 along Meadows Lilly Avenue near Rancho and Cheyenne, according to News 3 LV. The station notes that anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to contact LVMPD at 702-828-3111.

How Common Are Missing-Person Reports?

Police say missing-person reports are a regular occurrence in the valley. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department notes that roughly 600 missing-person reports are filed each month, and most people are located within a few days, according to LVMPD.

Local officials also hold outreach events, including Clark County’s “Missing in Nevada Day,” to help families file reports and provide DNA and dental records to investigators, county officials say. Clark County notes those efforts.
