LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — When officers arrested Mychael Thompson on a murder charge for allegedly killing his roommate, he had two 9mm cartridges in his pocket, according to an arrest report 8 News Now obtained Tuesday.
Thompson, 38, later told Metro police officers he found the cartridges and he was going to make a necklace with them. Cartridges with the same description were found next to the body of Antwon Watson, who was dead next to a dumpster in the parking lot of The Tides on Spencer apartment complex in the area of Spencer Street and Tropicana Avenue, documents said.
Thompson was scheduled to make his first court appearance on Wednesday morning. He is in custody in the Clark County Detention Center. He was arrested on Feb. 12, about several hours after the shooting, in a northwest valley neighborhood near Peak Drive and Maverick Street…
