Donny Osmond’s Nevada Concert Hits a Sour Note, Fan Sues Over Oversized Ball Mishap: ‘Loss of Enjoyment of Life’

Donny Osmond, the iconic entertainer known for decades of hits and a long-running Las Vegas residency, didn’t expect his show to make headlines for anything other than applause and encores. But for one Illinois woman attending a recent performance in Nevada, what was supposed to be a fun night out quickly turned into a legal headache. And a surprisingly painful one.

The woman, Joanne Julkowski, is now suing Donny Osmond, his production company, and Harrah’s Las Vegas, claiming that a giant, illuminated inflatable ball struck her in the audience during a February 2024 performance.

According to People, her lawsuit was filed in Nevada’s Clark County District Court. The incident caused serious injuries, including retinal trauma, retinal detachment, and concussion-related head and neck injuries. Julkowski alleges that the injuries have left her with lasting visual impairment and ongoing medical needs.
