LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A homicide investigation is underway at High Desert State Prison, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.
Michael Williams, 35, died Thursday, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Williams began serving a 15 to 40-year sentence for first-degree kidnapping with substantial bodily harm in 2018, the department said.
Williams is one of at least four High Desert State Prison inmates who have died within the past week. His death is the only one investigated as a homicide, according to the department…
