Las Vegas (KSNV) — Six inmates in Northern and Southern Nevada have been reported dead, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Officials listed the following inmate deaths on their website, as of February 20, 2026:
- Anthony Reed, 55: Died on Feb. 12 at Centennial Hills Hospital, serving 120 to 300 months at High Desert for second-degree murder
- Donte Smith, 48: Died on Feb. 12, serving 43 to 108 months for an ex-felon in possession of a firearm and discarding a firearm into an occupied area.
- Roderick Davidson, 58: Died on Feb. 15 at High Desert, serving 180 to life for five counts of habitual criminal
- Michael Williams, 35: Died on Feb. 19 at High Desert, serving 180 to 480 months for kidnapping in the first degree with substantial bodily harm
- Robert Dunn, 63: Died on Feb. 5, was serving 288 months to life for first-degree murder in Northern Nevada
- Damon Happy, 62: Died on Feb.13, serving 48 to 120 months for battery with a deadly weapon in Northern Nevada
