On the morning of Wednesday, February 25, the James Beard Foundation Awards named Las Vegas’s classic steakhouse, Bob Taylor’s Ranch House, as one of the recipients for its 2026 America’s Classics awards.
The award recognizes “locally owned restaurants with timeless appeal that serve quality food and are beloved by their communities,” according to the foundation. Bob Taylor’s Ranch House joins Las Vegas’s only other America’s Classics winner, Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge, which was recognized in 2024. Bob Taylor’s Ranch House will be honored at the 2026 James Beard Awards ceremony in Chicago on June 15, alongside the rest of the restaurant and chef winners.
Bob Taylor’s Ranch House was opened by Bob Taylor in 1955 as the Ranch House Supper Club. Taylor sold the Ranch House Supper Club in the 1980s, when new owners renamed it.
