LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County district attorney has dropped the charges against a man who was allegedly involved in a shooting and stabbing at a Las Vegas Chinatown karaoke bar.
Assault charges against Junren “Bruce” Wang have been dropped by District Attorney Steve Wolfson’s office after Lei Pei, the alleged victim in a November 2022 stabbing and shooting, could not prove he could physically appear in a Las Vegas courtroom after volunteering to appear digitally, an attorney told 8 News Now.
“We are shocked and dismayed at District Attorney Steve Wolfson’s decision to flat out dismiss a case in which a man was brutally attacked at the hands of the man named in this case Bruce Wang,” Michael Sanft, attorney representing the Lei Pei, said.
The district attorney’s office has not yet responded to a 8 News Now request for comment…
