Kentre Baker’s name is now at the center of a deepening dispute in Las Vegas, where grief and legal scrutiny have converged after a fatal police response earlier this month.
On Feb. 3, officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call from Raneka Pate, who reported a domestic crisis inside an apartment complex on South Maryland Parkway. According to police, her former partner, Quinton Baker, was inside with their 3 year old son, armed and threatening violence.
