Henderson mom admits to killing 2 children, will serve life in prison

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Henderson mother who killed her two children, ages one and four, will spend the rest of her life in prison.

Jovan Trevino, 38, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of first-degree murder. As part of the plea agreement Trevino made with prosecutors, she will serve life in prison without the possibility of parole.

In July 2021, Henderson police located the children deceased inside a home in the 700 block of Calamus Palm Place, near Interstate 11 and Galleria Drive. The victims were identified as Christopher Fox, 4, and Gihanna Fox, 1…
