Phoenix, AZ – A rare March heat wave is building across the western United States today, with temperatures forecast to surge 20 to 30 degrees above normal through the weekend. Desert cities including Phoenix and Las Vegas could approach or exceed 100 degrees, an unusually early milestone for the region.
