A Las Vegas family is begging for help after a cherished dirt bike, kept in honor of a man killed in a 2022 crash, vanished from their southwest valley garage in broad daylight.
The bike, which relatives say carries memories far more valuable than its resale price, had been repainted red and lovingly worked on by the rider’s surviving son. Sometime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on March 10, it disappeared from the garage, according to the family. They say all they want now is for the bike to come back home.
The theft and the family’s public plea were detailed by 8 News Now, which reported that the family has been circulating photos and descriptions of the dirt bike as they search for leads. Relatives told the station they are not interested in whatever the bike might be worth on paper and are focused solely on recovering the keepsake.
