Under a soft Las Vegas sky this week, family and friends gathered to pray, grieve and release butterflies in memory of 31-year-old mother Briana Flowers, who was killed in a Jan. 28 shooting. The quiet ceremony drew relatives who described Flowers as a fiercely devoted mom and said they are determined to see someone held accountable as the investigation moves forward.
Family Remembers Flowers
Her uncle, Richard Reid, said the memorials — including earlier services in Los Angeles — are part of the family’s effort not only to mourn, but to keep pressure on the search for answers. “She was just, you know, the best, coolest girl,” Reid said, according to FOX5.
