LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — More than a month after a mother and her former boyfriend were found shot and killed inside a southwest Las Vegas home, investigators have not named a suspect — and the families of both victims say they are still waiting for answers.
Briana Flowers, 31, and Anfernee Akeem Pollard, 31, were killed in late January. Flowers’ 6-year-old son called police after discovering them inside the home. Metro Police have confirmed no one has been taken into custody. It is also not clear whether a suspect may still be at large.
Flowers’ family holds prayer ceremony
This week, Flowers’ family gathered for a prayer ceremony and butterfly release in her honor. Family members described her as confident and beautiful.
“We just trying to, you know, get some, some type of closure if that’s what you want to call it,”said Briana’s uncle Richard Reid. “And, um, that’s about it and try to move on into the next phase until we get the, the justice for her.”
Reid also expressed gratitude toward those affected by the case…
