LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An 85-mile drive from Las Vegas will take you to a roadside gallery of Olympian proportions.
No, really. It was created by a former Olympian biathlete, now retired and a decade into the project. Pete Karns, 80, is the artist, and he works in sandstone. He lives part-time in Mesquite and spends the rest of his year in Wyoming, according to a recent interview.
