Egg Works’ South Rainbow location will close after service next Sunday, owner Brad Burdsall announced on Instagram. The off-Strip breakfast spot has been a neighborhood staple for nearly 28 years and is known locally for big morning plates and long lines on weekend brunches. The move affects only the Rainbow outpost, and the chain’s other valley locations will remain open.
The closure announcement went up in a late-Thursday Instagram post, and the South Rainbow restaurant is scheduled to serve its last customers after service next Sunday, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. That report notes the chain’s five other Egg Works restaurants and the Egg & I on Sahara will continue operating after the Rainbow location winds down.
Longtime Local Chain Keeps Most Locations
Egg Works’ own locations page lists seven valley restaurants and still shows the Rainbow outpost among them, according to the Egg Works website. That listing includes the 6960 South Rainbow Boulevard address and highlights daily breakfast hours and a menu of longtime favorites, giving customers options across the valley as the Rainbow spot prepares to close.
