Suspect at center of battle between LVMPD, judge appears for forgery charges

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The man at the center of a legal battle between the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and a justice court appeared for his latest arrest Tuesday.

Joshua Sanchez Lopez stood in a courtroom as he was appointed a public defender to represent him against multiple counts related to forgery. He previously refused to appear for two different court appearances on Thursday, March 19.
