LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Condo owners at the Palms Place told 8 News Now their mandatory cleaning fees are surging in price, in some cases up to almost 90%. Some claim the move is targeting short-term rentals.
In an email obtained by 8 News Now from Palms Place leadership to owners, they said:
“We are pleased to share a detailed breakdown of the current housekeeping fee alongside the revised fee structure.”
The studio fee shows an increase from $80 to $135. Additionally, the one-bedroom cleaning fee increased from $110 to $205…
