Dust advisory issued for Clark County as strong winds move in

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County’s Division of Air Quality has issued a dust advisory for Tuesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., as strong winds are expected across the area.

Officials forecast sustained winds near 25 mph, with gusts of 40 mph or higher. Residents and construction sites are urged to take precautions to reduce blowing dust.

Airborne dust is a type of particulate matter (PM) pollution that can worsen breathing problems.
