LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The U.S. Marshals Office said it arrested 147 fugitives between January and March in Nevada and other jurisdictions.
The fugitives were wanted for offenses, which included five for homicide, five for kidnapping, five for robbery, 17 for aggravated assault, three for burglary, 30 for drug offenses, two for escape, 26 for firearm offenses, and 34 for sex offenses. Additionally, two missing children were safely recovered, according to the U.S. Marshals Office.
Notable arrests include the following:
- Jay Claughton was arrested in Sparks on January 2 and wanted by the Sparks PoliceDepartment for Vehicular Homicide and Driving Under the Influence
- Davd Bird was arrested in Las Vegas on January 7 and wanted by the Las VegasMetropolitan Police Department for Own/Poss Gun by Prohibited Person, Grand Larceny of a Gun, Burglary While Possessing a Gun/Deadly Weapon and was subsequently charged with Obstructing Police
- Jesus Ali Lara-Lara was arrested in Incline Village on January 22 and wanted inMexico for Weapons Trafficking
- Kyle James Hammonds was arrested in Willingboro, New Jersey on January 22 andwanted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for Sexual Assault Against ChildUnder 16
- Jahvaan Jaylyn Robinson was arrested in Las Vegas on January 29 and wanted bythe Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 2nd Degree Kidnapping, ChildAbuse/Neglect, Statutory Sexual Seduction, and Domestic Battery
- Devon McMillin was arrested in Sparks on January 30, 2026. He was wanted by the Nye County Sheriff’s Department for Sexual Assault of a Child Under 14
- Trayvon Leequan Palmer was arrested in Las Vegas on February 17 and wanted bythe Metropolitan Nashville Police Department for Attempted First Degree Murder/Premeditated Intentional, First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, and Employing a Dangerous Weapon/Firearm with Intent
- Kody Gerald Corbett was arrested in Las Vegas on February 27 and wanted by theKaua’i Police Department for Theft in the First Degree.
- Jonathan Parker was arrested in Las Vegas on March 5 and wanted by the NevadaAttorney General for Escape
- Nathan Lee Potier was arrested in Sparks on March 17 and wanted by the OklahomaCounty Sheriff’s Office for Sexual Abuse of a Child
- Erica Palmer was arrested in Sparks on March 17 and wanted by the OklahomaCounty Sheriff’s Office for Enabling Sex Abuse of a Child and Child Abandonment.
- Edward Christopher Chavez was arrested in Reno on March 18 and wanted by theLas Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for Use or Permit Minor less than 14, to ProduceChild Sex Abuse Material, Prepare Material Depicting Child Sexual Abuse Material, andLewdness by Person MT 18 in Presence of Child under 18
