North Las Vegas police say their Narcotics Unit yanked a massive load of illegal drugs off city streets on Thursday, including roughly 20 kilograms of methamphetamine, nearly 3.8 kilograms of heroin and more than $10,000 in cash. The department described the operations as part of an ongoing push to disrupt trafficking and cut crime in North Las Vegas. The seizures were announced in a social post the department published on April 9.
According to the North Las Vegas Police Department’s Facebook, the Narcotics Unit logged seizures that included 11,252.6 grams and 8,806.1 grams of methamphetamine; 2,375.2 grams and 1,411.9 grams of heroin; 18.8 grams of cocaine; and $10,180 in seized cash.
