LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A police chase involving a stolen vehicle in the northwest Las Vegas valley Saturday morning closed a portion of Cheyenne Avenue, according to Metro police.
Around 7: 40 a.m., Metro police were involved in a vehicle pursuit with a Dodge Charger. During the pursuit, Metro officers used “a vehicle tactic to disable the stolen charger,” police said.
The suspect was taken into custody.
According to RTC, Cheyenne Avenue was closed in both directions from Soaring Gulls Drive and Cimarron Road as of 9:30 a.m. Around 10 a.m. all lanes reopened…
