Private investors swallow up portion of Vegas housing market

As issues with housing supply and affordability contribute to the housing crisis in the United States, private equity investors have taken the opportunity to buy a significant share of homes in Las Vegas.

In the valley, 26% of single-family homes are owned by investors, according to a 2025 report by BatchData.
