LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Las Vegas man is in custody and facing an open murder charge after police said his wife was found dead inside their home early Tuesday.
The case began when a man called 911 about 3 a.m. Tuesday, requesting medical help for his injured wife at a home in the 4300 block of Esmeralda Avenue, near Sahara Avenue and Arville Street, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Lt. Robert Price said.
According to an arrest report, Roelmer Sánchez-Garrido told LVMPD 911 dispatch that his wife was not breathing. Paramedics from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue arrived and contacted Sánchez-Garrido in the front yard, where he was pacing back and forth with his 2-year-old daughter, the report said…
