A 1970s-‘80s rock band is making a comeback with a new lead singer.
The Knack founding member Prescott Niles announced the “My Sharona” group will return to performing next month. The lineup will feature Niles on bass, his son Gabe Niles (Missing Persons, Gateway Drugs) on drums; Rocky Kramer on guitar; and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr. Big) on vocals and rhythm guitar.
Blabbermouth reports Prescott Niles’ The Knack will perform Saturday, May 2, at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California, and June 6 at The Stratosphere in Las Vegas. The concerts will feature music from the band’s catalog, focusing on the first three albums (1979’s “Get the Knack,” 1980’s “…But the Little Girls Understand” and 1981’s “Round Trip”)…
