Celebrate Mexican Food at the Taco Stand
To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we went to the Taco Stand. Now hold on to your conspiracy-loving hat because if you realized that Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday hit on the same day this year you will know why we had to be at the Taco Stand. Mind blown. While it might be too late to for you to experience this phenom of nature, it is not too late to get delicious food when you are visiting Las Vegas.
California Burrito Mmmm
I hear the California burrito is the way to go if you have a big appetite and love an all-inclusive delicious meal wrapped in a freshly baked tortilla. I was told this one is the OG and is worthy of texting grandma about.

We opted for the bean and cheese burrito and it’s smokey goodness went down smoother than a soul singer on a Tuesday night. Burrito portions are generous so bring an appetite or a hungry friend.
Mar y Tierra Fries
We also tried the Mar y Tierra fries. These might be the best smothered fries I have had in a long time. Featuring chunks of steak and fried shrimp smothered in a delicious slightly spicey sauce draped over a mountain of freshly fried fries.
These were a table favorite that we ordered to share. Wow, I had a moment when I thought I had ascended to surf-and-turf heaven.
Tacos, Tacos and More Tacos
They also have a fine offering of tacos, who would have thought tacos at the Taco Stand? These little flavor grenades were the perfect add-ons. Since they are not so huge they were a great addition to the table party of smothered fries and a burrito that we decided to split…
