(Fort Lauderdale, FL) – A Broward attorney has filed a lawsuit asking a judge to require the state attorney general to change the language of the property tax ballot referendum.
Weston City attorney Jamie Cole says the title, “SAVE OUR HOMES FROM EXCESSIVE PROPERTY TAXES” is a biased slogan and the wording of the summary is vague and misleading.
