West Elm is bringing its modern home furnishings and contemporary design aesthetic to Pembroke Pines, taking over the former Barnes & Noble space at Pembroke Gardens shopping center, located at 14572 SW Fifth Street. The furniture store will share the space with Pottery Barn. A quick trip to the shopping center finds signage up at the location.
The bookseller closed in January after more than 17 years at the shopping center. The Pembroke Gardens website lists West Elm as “coming soon“. West Elm is best known for its affordable yet classic items that cater to a clean, Midcentury Modern aesthetic. The company focuses less on trends and more on furniture that can last years of use.
