Driver purposely hit Aldi shopper after he tried hitting Uber Eats driver at police station: Cops

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — A driver is facing two attempted murder charges after Miami Gardens police said he tried to hit a food delivery driver outside of the agency’s own headquarters, then hit a customer walking into a nearby Aldi on Friday.

Investigators said Steve St. Felix, 44, of northwest Miami-Dade, called 911 about two hours later and admitted to the seemingly random crime.

According to an arrest report, an Uber Eats driver told investigators that he was “said he was standing by the main entrance stairs” at the Miami Gardens Police Department headquarters, located at 18611 NW 27th Ave., at around 8 p.m. trying to make a delivery when he saw a white Toyota Corolla speeding toward him…
