CJ Bailey’s critical mistake is further proof that Miami avoided a QB disaster

Remember when CJ Bailey was rumored to be the focus of the Miami Hurricanes in their efforts to land a transfer quarterback? Well, let’s be thankful that never came to fruition.

It made sense at the time that Bailey would be interested in being a Hurricane. He is from Miami and went to Chaminade-Madonna Prep school in Hollywood, Fla. And it also made sense that Miami would be interested in Bailey, who threw for 3,105 yards and had 31 total touchdowns last year.

After dealing with some of the physical limitations of Carson Beck last year, there would be no issues with Bailey, who is listed at 6-foot-6, 218 pounds and has a cannon for an arm.
