MIAMI — Drivers traveling through Miami this weekend should prepare for major highway closures and detours as crews continue construction on the I-395/SR 836/I-95 Design-Build Project.
A previously scheduled operation to install a steel reinforcement structure for a bridge support over the Dolphin Expressway (State Road 836) has been rescheduled for Saturday through Sunday, weather permitting.
The work will require the complete closure of eastbound lanes on the Dolphin Expressway at Northwest 17th Avenue, along with a separate overnight closure affecting westbound Interstate 395.
