Broward County man arrested, charged for deaths of trooper and truck driver

St Lucie County, Fl -The suspect in a police chase on Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County Friday that led to the death of a Florida Highway Patrol trooper and truck driver has been arrested and charged for his involvement.

BROWARD COUNTY MAN CHARGED IN THE DEATH OF FHP TROOPER

30 year old Michael Anthony Addison of Broward County has been charged in the deaths of two people including 26 year old FHP Trooper Zachary Fink.

Trooper Fink and the driver of a semi truck were killed in a crash on I-95 early Friday morning. Trooper Fink was in pursuit of Addison when the crash occurred. Addison fled the scene and hid in a residential community but was located following an extensive manhunt involving multiple agencies including the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Last night, Michael Anthony Addison was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of felony homicide, two counts of murder committed during a crime, driving without a license causing death or serious injury, aggravated fleeing and eluding with serious injury or death and felony homicide.
