Miami Commissioner Gets Served During Commission Meeting

More trouble for an embattled Miami Commissioner at today’s commission meeting. A process server coming to the podium this morning saying he has a formal complaint against Joe Carollo to have him removed from office. Just last week, U.S. Marshals were at Carollo’s Coconut Grove home starting the process of seizing his house after a 63-million-dollar judgment against him. A federal civil jury finding the longtime elected official infringed on the constitutional rights of two Little Havana businessmen by using his office to retaliate against them.
