Whether you’re looking for heart-shaped desserts, special prix-fixe meals, complimentary bottles of bubbly, or a private setting to swoon over your loved one, the idea is to find a restaurant made just for love.
Valentine’s Day may be less than a day away, but save this list for the next time you need a romantic setting to wine and dine that special someone.
To help you on your quest, Yelp recently listed the best restaurants for celebrating love. The online restaurant rating platform chose the most romantic restaurants in the country, all receiving high-star ratings from reviewers.
To do so, Yelp identified businesses in the restaurants and food categories with a large concentration of reviews mentioning words and phrases such as “romantic,” “date night,” and “valentine,” then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning those keywords. The platform only included five businesses per city, allowing for optimal geographic diversity. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of December 7, 2023.
