Erik Spoelstra Has Three-Word Message For Heat’s Elimination Game Chances

The Miami Heat are headed into the “lions den,” in the words of Heat captain Bam Adebayo. They’re facing the No. 1 team in the league in the Boston Celtics, on the road, in an elimination game.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has been vocal throughout the playoffs on one quote:”We’ve got enough.” Miami is essentially playing with backups against the best starting five in basketball.

Starters Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier haven’t been available in the Heat’s rotation for the postseason. They’re also dealing with injuries from key role players like Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Josh Richardson, who will be sidelined for Game 5 in Boston.

“We’ve got enough. We’re not talking about winning an 82-game regular season with this group. We’re going to be playing our main guys big minutes, trying to do whatever we have to do to win one game,” said Spoelstra, per Ira Winderman on X.
