Tamarac Elementary School is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an Alumni and Community event. The city’s first school opened in the fall of 1974, with James H. Henschel as its first principal. Tamarac Elementary’s motto was, “Show me what you can become. There’s a dream for everyone.”
