Apple on Friday announced an opening date and location for its first store in the downtown Miami core and unveiled its sign on a barricade covering the storefront.
The new Art Deco-influenced Apple store opens Jan. 24 at Miami Worldcenter , a $6 billion, 27-acre mixed-use development of retail and residential units.
A clutch of social influencers were invited to point their Apple devices at the whimsical nature-themed banner of vibrant greens, yellows, turquoise and pink foliage, the Apple logo and an inscription, “Naturally Inspiring,” centered on the freestanding, single-story, building.
