HIALEAH GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) – A family speaks out after a deadly wrong-way crash on the Palmetto Expressway killed one person and hospitalized two others in Hialeah Gardens.
Florida Highway Patrol said a SUV was going north in the southbound lanes, causing the driver to smash into another SUV driving south around 1 a.m. Monday near the exit to Okeechobee Road. The passenger in the vehicle heading the wrong way died in the crash.
