As reported by NBC6, she faces allegations that include exploitation of the elderly for sums ranging from $20,000 to amounts greater than $100,000, fraudulent use of identification, and various counts of forgery and larceny.
During her bond court appearance, the judge set Padilla’s bond at $210,000, with specific conditions such as GPS-monitored house arrest and no contact with her alleged victims. According to Local10, Judge Betsy Benson expressed her concern by ordering Padilla to “tell us where she is going” if released on bond, emphasizing the strict terms of her house arrest.
Padilla was previously a subcontractor for Elder Solutions, a company offering services like guardianship and geriatric care management. Her responsibilities included managing the financial affairs of clients, and she even held power of attorney for one of the individuals she is accused of defrauding.
