Several teenagers have dodged legal repercussions after participating in the “door kick challenge,” a disturbing trend that’s causing havoc in Hialeah neighborhoods. According to NBC Miami, the recent incident took place on December 4 at an apartment complex on West 4th Avenue, where the youths’ antics were caught on surveillance, resulting in a broken window and damaged door.
An upset resident of the building, Ana Rojas, told NBC Miami, “And hit every single window and hit every door, went upstairs, hit the doors upstairs, broke windows and everything.” Despite the damage caused, authorities have decided not press charges after the teens’ parents agreed to cover the costs of the destruction.
