Carlos Cabrera, 34, of Hialeah, was arrested by Miami Springs Police. He is accused of taking more than $39,000 from an elderly Miami Springs resident for remodeling work in 2023 and not completing the job. Cabrera faces charges of grand theft, exploitation of the elderly, and unlicensed contracting.
