Culver’s, the Wisconsin-based fast-casual spot for ButterBurgers and custards, is coming to Pembroke Pines.
Barnesto Custard, LLC filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) to open a Culver’s at 1580 S. Hiatus Road. No opening date has been announced. This will be Pembroke Pines’ first Culver’s, although there are several existing locations in South Florida.
Founded in 1984 by Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig’s parents George and Ruth, Culver’s serves items steeped in Wisconsin tradition and values. Its specialty is the ButterBurger, a burger made with always-fresh beef that’s grilled to order and placed on a buttered bun.
