Late-morning gunfire shattered the routine in Miami Gardens on Tuesday, sending one adult to the hospital and leaving a black BMW riddled with bullet holes along Northwest 167th Street, according to police.
Officers were called to the 1700 block of Northwest 167th Street just before noon, where they found the wounded victim and the BMW struck multiple times. Investigators said the shooter or shooters took off in a black vehicle. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rushed the victim to a nearby hospital. Police had not released an update on the person’s condition as of midafternoon.
Scene And Police Response
According to Local 10, Miami Gardens officers quickly taped off the area around the battered BMW, which appeared to be the focus of the gunfire. Detectives said they believe the suspect or suspects fled in a black vehicle, though they have not publicly shared a description beyond that.
The investigation remains active.
