Junior interior offensive lineman Sean Tatum made his verbal commitment on Friday. The class of 2027 IOL out of John Carroll High School officially gave his pledge to the University of Miami. When he graduates next spring, the No. 9 ranked IOL will trade his blue and yellow for green and orange becoming a Hurricane.
The 6’4”, 325lb lineman visited Miami on March 28 and after that visit, it became evident that Miami was leading the way to land Tatum, who ultimately chose the Hurricanes on Friday over Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee, who were all finalists to land him as well.

He visited Gainesville for junior day back in January and was impressed when he did so, noting the difference in the atmosphere and culture under Jon Sumrall’s regime, however a visit to Miami last month made it clear that’s where he wanted to be.
