Local labor leaders call for fair wages, worker protections at Miami’s World Cup events

Local union leaders on Tuesday called on Miami’s FIFA host committee to give them a seat at the planning table.

Union representatives gathered outside Miami-Dade’s Government Center to call for fair pay and fair working conditions as South Florida prepares to host seven World Cup games in a matter of weeks.
