Charges dropped against Miami doctor accused of shipping drug GBL

Miami-Dade prosecutors have dropped charges against a South Florida doctor accused of shipping packages of the illegal drug GBL from overseas to a Coral Gables property he owns.

Dairon García was arrested in 2024 and charged with trafficking gamma-butyrolactone, or GBL, according to court records. He pleaded not guilty.
