A man has been arrested in connection with a fraud scheme in Coral Gables that swindled a woman out of nearly $2 million worth of gold bars and coins, authorities said.
Sumit Bahadur Pandey, 24, is facing charges including grand theft, organized scheme to defraud, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and falsely impersonating an officer during the commission of a felony, an arrest warrant said.
