A Miami rapper has been accused of animal cruelty after investigators said they uncovered what appeared to be a ritual sacrifice setup inside his home, along with a live baby goat allegedly marked for slaughter.
Lazaro Lesteiro-Diaz, 26, who performed under the names Drakula and YungLazz, was arrested Thursday following an investigation into an alleged bank fraud scheme he had reportedly referenced in his music. Authorities said the case took a disturbing turn when a search warrant was executed at his Florida home, revealing a room investigators described as being “full of Cuban Santeria/Voodoo witchcraft,” as he was charged with animal cruelty.
Just steps away from that room, officers said they found a live baby goat named Valor inside a cardboard box. The animal had orange paint circling its neck, which investigators believe marked where it was intended to be slaughtered. Two decapitated chickens were also discovered behind the property.
