USPS worker arrested after allegedly stealing winning lottery ticket from the mail and cashing it in

Lakaysha Lockhart, a 28-year-old U.S. Postal Service worker from Hollywood, is accused of stealing a woman’s winning lottery ticket valued at $2,600 from the mail and cashing it in at a South Florida lottery office, according to Florida Lottery officials.

She was arrested on July 23 following an investigation conducted by special agents from the Florida Lottery and the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General, as indicated by court records.
